DAY 1: ROME
Complimentary Private Transfer to Hotel. Enjoy
the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight.
DAY 2: ROME - NAPLES - POMPEII - SORRENTO
Breakfast at hotel. Departure at 6.45 am by deluxe motor coach for Naples, brief
panoramic visit. Continue to Pompeii, lunch and visit of the excavations of this
Roman town destroyed by the eruption of Mt Vesuvius in 79 A.D. After visit continue to
Sorrento, famous summer resort. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 3: SORRENTO
Breakfast. Free day to explore the old quarter of this town, the Cathedral and
the Corso Italia ,the main street of the Peninsula and the Piazza Tasso with its
outdoor cafe’s. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
DAY 4: SORRENTO, CAPRI
After Breakfast, pick up at 8.30, board the boat for the Island of Capri. Upon
Arrival at the Port of Marina Grande, departure for the visit of Capri and Blue
Grotto - weather and sea conditions permitting. Lunch. Overnight on the island.
DAY 5: CAPRI
Breakfast. Free time to explore this beautiful island that has been also been
renamed the “Garden of Eden”, where the sun is always shining. Possibility to
visit Anacapri, situated on the slopes of Monte Solario, The Port of Marina,
the Faraglioni: these impressive rocks that look like lighthouses, or the famous
Villa Jovis, a residence built for the emperor Tiberius. Overnight .
DAY 6: CAPRI, SORRENTO, POSITANO
Breakfast. Departure by boat for Sorrento where, upon arrival, you will take the
coach and be transferred to Positano, driving along the most famous road of the
Campania region: the Amalfi coast road. Accommodation at the hotel and
overnight.
DAY 7: POSITANO
Breakfast. Free day to explore this ancient fishermen’s village with its cubic
white houses. Today one of the most well-known summer resorts of the whole
peninsula. On foot, take the Via Pasitea which will bring you to the heart of
town with its narrows streets, terraces and gardens overlooking the Bay. Famous
are the handbags made of straw and its hand made sandals. Overnight.
DAY 8: POSITANO, NAPLES
Breakfast in hotel. At the requested hour, transfer to Naples. End of our
services.
